Through the Accelerate Externship Program, accomplished professionals within AAAIM generously offered their time and knowledge to 30 undergraduate college students seeking guidance and opportunity in investment management and finance.

AAAIM Accelerate became more than just an introduction into the field. It was a transformative journey for diverse college students seeking to accelerate their careers. Through the week-long hybrid program, externs met with seasoned professionals and engaged in workshops focused on the vast opportunities of career paths in the industry and professional development. The AAAIM family showed externs that success is not a linear or a solitary pursuit, but something that is accomplished through collaboration, community, and curiosity.

AAAIM Accelerate fostered not only professional development and growth, but also meaningful relationships, opportunities, and conversation among students and professionals. This would not have been possible without the support and contributions of our 2 Accelerate sponsors, Linden Advisors & Frank Zhang of ZBS Partners. AAAIM Accelerate volunteers also included 38 speakers from various asset classes and career paths, 8 firm hosts (Goldman Sachs, GCM Grosvenor, WCAS, Atalaya Capital Management, BeachPoint Capital, Blackstone, KKR, and Marathon Asset Management), 30 mentors, and the Accelerate Committee, including advisors Linda Choi (Kabouter Management) and Elizabeth Yan (First Eagle Investments).
