AAAIM Accelerate: Externship Program
Accelerate is an interactive and hybrid initiative tailored for diverse undergraduate college students interested in investment management and finance. Geared towards accelerating students’ overall professional journey, the initiative focuses on developing skills necessary for networking, pursuing internships, and actively preparing for entry into the workforce.
Externship Program
AAAIM’s Externship is an intensive 7-day hybrid program in the summer, offering externs an experiential learning opportunity. The externship accepts a small group of up to 30 undergraduate college students, selected through an application-based process. Externs will engage in professional development training focusing on resume building, interviewing techniques, and relationship building, while interacting with investment and finance professionals, heads of Human Resources and Talent, and industry veterans. At the end of the externship, AAAIM will facilitate mentorship connections and explore potential industry opportunities for externs.
The Externship begins with a five-day virtual program and will conclude with a two-day in-person program in New York City. Travel stipends are provided to qualified students.
