About This Form

The AAAIM Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) Norman Mineta Cohort Program Candidate Referral Form is the official method for endorsing a candidate applying to the current cohort.

ELI is designed to cultivate, connect, and elevate the next generation of Asian American investment leaders. Your referral plays a critical role in helping AAAIM identify individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, a commitment to impact, and alignment with the program’s mission.

A completed referral is a required component of the candidate’s application.
The deadline to submit this referral form is Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

How Referrals Are Used

Application Completion: A candidate’s application will not be considered complete or reviewed until at least one (1) referral is submitted. Candidates may request up to two (2) referrals.
Confidential Review: All referrals are confidential. Candidates will be notified once a referral has been received, but will not have access to your responses.
Evaluation Process: Referrals are reviewed as part of a holistic evaluation process to assess each candidate’s leadership trajectory, character, and potential contributions to the ELI network.
Acknowledgment: You will receive a confirmation email upon submission of this form.
