The Sustainable Investment & Stewardship Strategies (SISS) unit of the CalSTRS Investment Branch is seeking an experienced investment professional to join the investments team with a primary focus on investments that support the energy transition and other sustainability focused investments. This position will lead several workstreams through the investment process such as due diligence and evaluation of investment opportunities, conducting financial model analyses, structuring legal transaction documentation, and preparing investment recommendation memoranda and presentations. This position will perform a wide range of complex duties requiring a high degree of independence and discretionary judgement and will support the SISS Director and Portfolio Managers in the build-out of the portfolio.
