The CalSTRS Investments Branch is seeking an experienced individual to work as an Associate Portfolio Manager on the Real Estate team.
The Real Estate unit invests in commercial real estate domestically and internationally. The unit currently includes allocations to core, value add and opportunistic risk strategies. The Real Estate unit’s responsibilities include investment and operational oversight in order to manage the portfolio.
Under the general direction of the Portfolio Manager, the Associate Portfolio Manager provides investment expertise and is responsible for managing a portfolio of investments utilizing independent analysis regarding the development and implementation of various risk management, investment program strategies, processes and controls consistent with policies and procedures in order to meet investment and policy objectives.
