NYC /SoCal Cohort Qualifications
- NYC area based (Tri-state area) and Southern California
- Members in Private/Public Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge/Asset Management, Real Estate
- 3-6 years post MBA and working in the financial or investment field currently
- High potential candidate with a referral, focused on professional growth and supporting AAPI
community
Program Commitments:
- Monthly mentor sessions
- Quarterly in-person or virtual meetings: Networking, Professional Development & Training, Team-based activities with the cohort group. Group virtual meeting times will alternate between East Coast/West Coast after work hours to the best of our professional development partners’ availability
- Commitment/demonstration of giving back to the AAPI community and other underserved communities through a group project
- AAAIM conference attendance (complimentary)
- Organizational promotion of participation
Program Benefits to Cohort
- Mentorship: Assigned a Mentor from the AAAIM leadership network
- Professional Development: Quarterly Leadership Training, provided through the AAAIM network such as interviewing skills, navigating workplace culture, finding internal corporate sponsors, self-advocacy and promotion, etc.
- Free Attendance and Recognition at AAAIM Annual Conference
Personal Commitment
- Commitment to attend at least half of the trainings and events related to the program
- Travel and related costs of the program
- Support AAAIM and AAPI community as an ambassador
- Support for AAAIM’s local chapter in SoCal and NYC
